We are about to show you how to create an exquisite fish fillet with vegetables in an easy and delicious way. In this recipe, we will opt for the choice of a high quality white fish, and in this case, we select the Basa as the protagonist.
Ingredients:
- 1 onion
- basa fillets
- 1 saffron capsule
- 1 vegetable stock cube
- ½ cup lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
- 50 grs. cold butter
- 1 sprig thyme
- ½ cup white wine
For vegetables:
- 1 clove garlic
- vegetables to taste
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:
- In a non-stick frying pan, add a tablespoon of olive oil and place the fish fillets. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 3 minutes on each side, until lightly browned.
- Dissolve the vegetable bouillon cube in two tablespoons of warm water.
- Add the wine to the pan with the fish, then the hot broth, lemon juice and thyme. Cook for approximately 3 more minutes.
- Remove the fish fillets from the pan and keep them warm.
- Strain the cooking liquid and mix it with the saffron, then return it to the fire.
- Allow to reduce for a few minutes and then add the butter, stirring vigorously until a smooth sauce is obtained.
Preparation of vegetables:
- In a pan with olive oil, sauté garlic and vegetables. Cook until hot and cooked through.
- Season with soy sauce (optional), salt and pepper to taste.
