We are about to show you how to create an exquisite fish fillet with vegetables in an easy and delicious way. In this recipe, we will opt for the choice of a high quality white fish, and in this case, we select the Basa as the protagonist.

Ingredients:

  • 1 onion
  • basa fillets
  • 1 saffron capsule
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 50 grs. cold butter
  • 1 sprig thyme
  • ½ cup white wine

For vegetables:

  • 1 clove garlic
  • vegetables to taste
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

  1. In a non-stick frying pan, add a tablespoon of olive oil and place the fish fillets. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 3 minutes on each side, until lightly browned.
  2. Dissolve the vegetable bouillon cube in two tablespoons of warm water.
  3. Add the wine to the pan with the fish, then the hot broth, lemon juice and thyme. Cook for approximately 3 more minutes.
  4. Remove the fish fillets from the pan and keep them warm.
  5. Strain the cooking liquid and mix it with the saffron, then return it to the fire.
  6. Allow to reduce for a few minutes and then add the butter, stirring vigorously until a smooth sauce is obtained.

Preparation of vegetables:

  1. In a pan with olive oil, sauté garlic and vegetables. Cook until hot and cooked through.
  2. Season with soy sauce (optional), salt and pepper to taste.
